From September 4 to 5, 2019, the "third annual meeting of compressor industry development and the replacement meeting of compressor Technical Committee and Standardization Working Committee" hosted by compressor branch of China general machinery industry association was held in Nanjing. The theme of this conference is "science and technology leading, cooperation and sharing, and sustainable development". More than 250 experts, scholars, industry leaders and chief engineers from Sinopec engineering company, China Huanqiu contracting & Engineering Corporation, China Kunlun engineering company, Liaoning Datang, Dongming Petrochemical, AVIC Planning & Design Institute, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Hefei General Institute, China University of petroleum and Xi'an Jiaotong University attended the event.

The meeting was presided over by Mr. Wu Yonghui, vice president of compressor branch of China Communications Association and general manager of Shanghai Dalong Machinery Factory Co., Ltd., Mr. Wu Feng, President of compressor branch of China General Machinery Industry Association, delivered an opening speech, and Mr. Niu Changwen, vice president and Secretary General of China equipment Management Association, attended the meeting to congratulate and address.

The "air compressor technology forum" was presided over by Jin Wei, director of the Secretariat of compressor branch of China General Machinery Industry Association. On the afternoon of September 5, the first meeting of the eighth Technical Committee and the second Standardization Working Committee of compressor branch of China Communications Association was held. Sun Fang, Executive Deputy Secretary General of China General Machinery Industry Association and Secretary General of compressor branch, presided over the meeting.

The new technical committee and Standardization Working Committee are composed of external experts of the industry, leaders of related disciplines of scientific research institutes and technical experts of enterprises in the industry. At the meeting, the candidates for the chairman of the two committees were elected. At the meeting, the working regulations of Technical Committee and Standardization Working Committee of compressor industry were reviewed and adopted. The meeting introduced the principles of standard review.

Experts and members also discussed how to play the role of the two committees in the future.
